I would like to say that if you have a property in Bulgaria and you have made a will in the UK it is not worth anything in Bulgaria. English people who have property’s in Bulgaria need to register their property’s there and also make a will in Bulgaria (in compliance with the Bularian law). If you do not do this you will face a lot of problems, when someone dies in your family who owns Bulgarian property, which is what happened to me, when my parents died.After the death of my parents, I saw a solicitor in Bulgaria who looked at the will from the UK and had other documents from me also. This solicitor had to get everything translated which cost quite a lot also with fees on top, it took almost 2 years back and forth, which in the end resulted in the Bulgarian solicitor telling me the will was not worth anything so it was all a waste of time and money.Beware of some of the solicitors in Bulgaria as they should know about the will before even taking any money from you. Luckily I found a solicitor through the Bulgarian site on Facebook who did 2 years work in just a few months, she saved me a lot of stress was very helpful, kept in touch on a regular basis letting me know everything that was going on, she has now solved all of my problems from just a phone call away, I would greatly recommend Ganka to anyone out there who needs legal assistance in Bulgaria with property or Notary issues.  This lady will sort out all of your issues and will not let you down, thank God I found Ganka. I was introduced to Ganka by a colleague who also needed legal assistance in Bulgaria.  Ganka seemed ideal as she speaks Bulgarian and English fluently and she can practice law in Bulgaria.  What’s more, she lives and works in both the UK and Bulgaria.

I found out two days before the end of my trip to Bulgaria, that Ganka was staying nearby and an initial meeting was quickly arranged.  She knew exactly what needed to be done and was able to arrange all the paperwork and notary appointment quickly.  She explained everything very clearly and provided a great translator (required by law in Bulgaria)…our initial business was concluded quickly.  Ganka had kindly given up some of her personal time to help me achieve what I needed to do before I left Bulgaria.

 Upon returning to the UK, I was surprised how quickly Ganka had managed to get the documents back to me.

Anglo Bulgaria company recently dealt with my house property. In 2008 I bought two houses in Bulgaria as things change. The documents had to be updated and accounts brought up to date. I  was told by a friend that a firm called Anglo Bulgaria could do this and I rang them. They got all the new paper work for me and brought it all up to date. I was very pleased with the quick and efficient way they dealt with it. I would certainly recommend them to future client's.
